The Ritz Contest Rules

Please find additional details below for the contest your are entering.

  • All compliant entries will be registered to win a gift card to The Ritz Theatre.

  • The Ritz contests are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

  • No purchase is necessary to enter.

  • No age limit applies, however anyone under 18 must have permission from their parent or guardian to enter. Submitting photo indicates permission has been obtained.

  • Each entrant must give a first and last name, for the purpose of identifying the winner.

  • Employees of The Ritz Theatre, Mountainplex Properties, and Practicelink are not eligible to win.

  • Submitting your photo for a contest gives the Ritz Theatre permission to use your name and photo on our website and social media pages at any time - now or in the future.

  • The winner can pick up the gift card at The Ritz Theatre during hours of operation. Please call (304)466-6700 to schedule your prize pick-up.

  • Winner must present a photo ID in order to claim their prize.

  • The gift cards are not redeemable for cash. Cash will not be given for change - remaining balance will stay on the card.

  • Any questions or requests for additional information can be sent to staff@ritzwv.com.

Valentine's Day Contest Rules (posted February 14, 2023,)

  • To enter, submit a photo you and your date or story of a date at The Ritz along with your name, in the comments section of the Valentine’s Day Photo Contest post on Facebook or Instagram or email your photo to staff@ritzwv.com with “Valentine's Day Photo Contest” in the subject line.

  • Valentine's Day Photo Contest pictures must be submitted by 1:00pm on February 22.

  • One entry will be selected by random drawing on Friday, February 24, to win a $10 gift card for the Ritz Theatre. 

  • The winner’s name will be announced Friday, February 24 on The Ritz’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

 

 

Mother’s Day Contest Rules (posted April 28, 2022)

  • To enter, submit a photo of you and your mom, or you and your child or children along with your name, in the comments section of the Mother’s Day Photo Contest post on Facebook or Instagram or email your photo to staff@ritzwv.com with “Mother’s Day Photo Contest” in the subject line.

  • Mother’s Day Photo Contest pictures must be submitted by 11:59pm on May 6th.

  • One entry will be selected by random drawing on Sunday, May 8th, to win a $50 gift card for the Ritz Theatre. 

  • The winner’s name will be announced May 8th on The Ritz’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

Father’s Day Contest Rules (posted May 19, 2022)

  • To enter, submit a photo of you and your dad or father-figure, or you and your child or children along with your name, in the comments section of the Father’s Day Photo Contest post on Facebook or Instagram or email your photo to staff@ritzwv.com with “Father’s Day Photo Contest” in the subject line.

  • Father's Day Photo Contest pictures must be submitted by 11:59pm on Friday, June 17.

  • One entry will be selected by random drawing on Sunday, June 19, to win a $50 gift card for the Ritz Theatre. 

  • The winner’s name will be announced June 17, 2022 on The Ritz’s Facebook page. 

  • Not eligible to win if you've won a Ritz Contest in the past 6 months.

  • Employees or immediate family members of The Ritz Theatre, Mountainplex Properties, and Practicelink are not eligible to win.
